At The Beach School we are committed to helping students explore and prepare for their future pathways. Our Careers and Transition Program provides students with the knowledge, skills and support needed to make informed decisions about their education, training and career opportunities.
Students have access to a dedicated Careers Adviser who is available to assist with:
Exploring career options and pathways
Preparing resumes, cover letters and job applications
Organising work experience opportunities
Accessing information about further education including TAFE, university and apprenticeships
In addition, all students participate in a weekly careers education lesson as part of their timetable. These lessons are designed to build career readiness by exploring industries, workplace skills and post-school options.
Our Careers and Transition Team also provides tailored support for students, including:
Individual transition plans to guide post-school pathways
Advice on accessing scholarships, traineeships and study programs
Assistance with navigating services such as employment agencies and further training providers
By integrating career education into the school experience we aim to empower students to make confident, informed choices about their futures.
