Community involvement

At The Beach School we are dedicated to fostering strong community connections that provide comprehensive support for our students. We partner with organizations like One Meal, offering meals and social connection to individuals and families in need, and Headspace, which helps address the mental health and emotional needs of young people. Additionally, we are actively involved with the Northern Beaches Youth Interagency, a network that brings together local services to coordinate efforts in supporting youth. Through this collaboration, our students have access to a wide range of resources and services that promote their overall wellbeing.

We also work closely with StreetWork, an outreach program that provides support for at-risk youth, and the Police Youth Liaison Officers, who play a key role in building positive relationships between young people and law enforcement. These partnerships help us address behavioral challenges and foster constructive community engagement. Furthermore, we collaborate with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to ensure that students who require additional intervention or protection receive the support they need. By working hand-in-hand with families, agencies, and local services, we create a robust, holistic support system that helps our students thrive in both their education and personal development.
